110th Day of Indian Curfew in IoK

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, 110 days on, the residents of the Kashmir Valley and Muslim majority areas of Jammu and Ladakh regions continue to simmer with anger and anguish over India’s illegal move of stripping the special status of the territory.

The people in the occupied territory, especially in the Kashmir Valley, have been living under a heightened military presence, without basic civil liberties and access to phones and the internet since August 5, 2019.

There is a shortage of food and medicines, while heavy snowfall has multiplied the miseries of the helpless Kashmiri people.

On the other hand, the Indian police has filed a case against professor of Ali Garh University and her husband for posting Kashmir related content on social media.

The PhD Professor, Huma Parveen, in her post wrote, Truly loosing contact is very dangerous and hurtful, whether it is Chandrayaan or Kashmir.
