KARACHI/LAHORE/QUETTA/PESHAWAR: Processions honouring Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala are being taken out today across various cities in Pakistan on Saturday.
Participants of the mourning rallies and processions paid rich tributes to Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs who laid down their lives in the battle of Karbala. Nohas were recited and ‘Zanjeer Zani’ was conducted to mourn the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (RA).
The processions and rallies are being taken out under stringent security measures. In Karachi, the main procession will be taken out from Nishtar Park and will conclude at Imambargah Hussainian Iranian after passing through traditional routes.
In Islamabad, the central procession will be taken out from Imambargah Asna Ashri G-6/2. In Lahore, the central mourning procession will be taken out from Pando Street in Lahore and after passing through several places, will conclude at the same location.
In Islamabad, three routes will be created for mourners to enter and take part in the main procession.
Meanwhile in Peshawar, the central procession will commence from Imambargah Hussainian in Saddar and will conclude at the same place after passing traditional routes.
