LAHORE: Opposition members in Punjab Assembly demanded the house take strict action against those male workers and supporters of PML-N who allegedly misbehaved with women Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activists during the election campaign in NA-120.
PTI Legislator Nabila Hakim Ali Khan submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly, contending that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers and supporters misbehaved with female workers of the PTI which was condemnable. She contended that PML-N workers were taking revenge for the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif from PTI female workers.
She said the PML-N was using such tactics to bar PTI female workers from running a campaign in NA-120 constituency. She stated the opposition benches strongly condemned the act of the ruling party. She demanded of the house to take strict action against those who misbehaved with PTI women activists.
