Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Calls on Army Chief


Rawalpindi (August 2, 2017): Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Omar Zakhilwal called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.      

According to ISPR, matters of mutual interest including security situation and border management were discussed during the meeting.

The Army Chief expressed his grief over loss of innocent lives in recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

At least 30 people had killed in an explosion at a Shia mosque in the Afghan province of Herat, according to local sources.
