ISLAMABAD: Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has expressed determination on the anniversary of the air-blue plane crash that independent inquiry over the crash will reveal real facts to nation and victims families.
Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan paid a visit to the mass grave of Airblue plane crash victims to mark 10th anniversary of the mishap in the graveyard situated in H-11 area of Islamabad.
The minister laid floral wreath at the Yaadgar-e-Shuhada and offered fateha for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
On the occasion, Ghulam Sarwar said that an independent board will be formed to unveil reasons behind such incidents.
The Minister said that we are standing with the victims families adding that he still remembered July 28, 2010 when he saw him plane taking low heights by himself who later crashed the against the Margalla hills.
He said that many lost their precious lives in the filght accidents happened in the last ten years while he said that the Karachi plane crash inquiry was made public on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Minister prayed that such accidents like Karachi plane crash never happened again.
On July 28 in the year 2010, 152 people including the crew members and two U.S. citizens were killed as Airblue plane crashed into the Margalla hills in Islamabad.
