Islamabad administration has already granted permission to PTI to hold the celebration ceremony with the direction that the Parade Ground should be vacated by 11 p.m. tonight. The administration has also asked the party to ensure internal security inside the venue and to install separate enclosure for women.
After Supreme Court’s verdict that announced disqualifying Nawaz Sharif as prime minister in Panama paper case on Friday chairman PTI Imran Khan had announced to mark Sunday as mass thanksgiving day in a public rally at Parade.
Imran had congratulated the nation and said “Pakistan has won today.” The PTI Chief said he had no personal agenda against Nawaz Sharif and added that the former PM had done wrong to the people of this country that was why they wanted him to be held accountable.
Imran Khan invited all those who have been part of PTI’s struggle during last 21 years to join him at Parade Ground today for thanksgiving.
Hailing the Supreme Court verdict in Panama case as historic and beginning of an Islamic Welfare Pakistan, Imran Khan said that the decision will strengthen democracy in the country.
