Amendment In Army Act Is Not Unconstitutional: Shahbaz Sharif

LONDON: President Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Shahbaz Sharif has said that the amendment in the army act is not unconstitutional adding that judiciary, parliament and army power lies in moving forward.

Talking to media in London, Shahbaz Sharif said that the Supreme Court had ordered legislation regarding extension in army chief within six months while he said the amendment conducted in the army act is not against the constitution and henceforth it was supported unconditionally.

He said that Imran Khan government not even copied decisions taken in the previous governments adding that Imran Khan used to say that when dollar rates increase by one rupee it will increase the country’s loans but in his government where the loans have surmounted.

He said that the power of judiciary, army and parliament lies in moving forward together and everyone should join together ending poverty of the people.
