Pakistan-born British boxer Amir Khan’s foundation is all set to distribute ration bags to 10,000 families in Pakistan.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram and announced that he will be providing aid to the families who have suffered during lockdown all over the country due to coronavirus pandemic. “I’m giving out food Tomorrow to the people of Pakistan. 10,000 families will receive aid”.

Amir also shared a video where it can be seen that the rations bags are being prepared in his boxing academy located in Islamabad.

“Seeing everyone suffer in Pakistan with food shortage due to the coronavirus I have made bags which contain rice, flour, daal, chickpeas, juices, water, powder milk, bars of soap. I would like to thank the Pakistan Army for helping us distributing the bags,” he wrote.

Last week, he announced to donate PKR40 million to Pakistan to combat the coronavirus and also announced to give his Islamabad Boxing Academy to the government as a quarantine for the coronavirus patients.
