Peshawar (July 29, 2017): Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan on Saturday said that ANP respected the Supreme Court verdict on Panamagate.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, Khan said that ANP had always respected courts judgments and respect the one on Panamagate case too.
He added that the country had remained hostage to Panamagate issue for over a year. “As now the SC has given its verdict on Panama Leaks case, so it is now incumbent upon all the provincial and federal governments to resolve people issues on priority basis.
The ANP chief said that that they had also difference with Nawaz Sharif over FATA reforms and National Action Plan but they never conspire against democracy.
He urged that parliament’s powers should rest with it.
Khan vowed that his party was ready to render every sacrifice to protect and strengthen democracy in the country.
