ANP wants KP-FATA merger before polls
 Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has demanded KP-FATA merger before the general elections.

Addressing a political gathering of the party here on Sunday, Asfandyar said that the party would take to the streets if 18th Amendment was amended.

He went on to say that there were no corruption allegations on any member and minister of the party. He said, “If any member of his family is proven guilty of corruption then he must be hanged.”

Criticising his political opponents, he said that graft cases would be opened against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak after his tenure.

He said that the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MML) was not endeavoring for Islam, but for Islamabad.

In his address, former chief minister Ameer Haider Hoti said that nobody could dare to put an end to the politics of the ANP.

He said that the PTI had overburdened the province with debts. He added that several PTI legislators had sold their votes for hundreds of thousands of rupees. He concluded by demanding KP-FATA merger and expressed hope that the ANP would gain a massive victor in the upcoming elections.
