ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Army were discussed in the meeting.
The Prime Minister lauded role of the armed forces in counter-terrorism operations including operation Radd-ul-Fasaad and Khyber-4.
He said the entire nation is proud of the sacrifices rendered by security personnel in ridding the motherland of the menace of terrorism.
It was the PM’s first meeting with the army chief since assuming the office on Aug 1. – Samaa
