Asma murder case: Key accused confesses to crime


MARDAN: The key accused of the murder case of four-year old Asma – Muhammad Nabi – confessed to his crime on Monday, Samaa reported. 

He was produced before a court of a senior Civil Judge where he confessed to his involvement in the rape-and-murder of the child.

The accused was arrested by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police after his DNA was matched with samples taken from innocent Asma’s body. His arrest came after 25-day of the crime was committed.

Muhammad Nabi had been working in a hotel and had thrown Asma’s dead body in fields of sugarcane after raping and killing her.
