LAHORE: Head Coach of Pakistan cricket team Mickey Arthur has said that batting is getting better each day, Samaa reported.
Speaking to media on Thursday, Arthur stated that the batting has started to really step up and he was impressed with the younger players. He added that it was an area in which improvement is required.
‘We need to start getting some younger guys to the system in terms of our batting but our batters are getting better and better. I’m comfortable that we’re in a good space there,’ Arthur said.
The head coach stated that the team is a good bowling unit and has depth and strength in both seam and spin departments.
He added that competition in the bowling department is now ‘massive’.
