Pakistan were beaten 4-2 by Belgium in the Rabobank Hockey Champions Trophy on Friday.
Muhammad Aleem Bilal gave Pakistan the lead in the 11th minute with a penalty corner. Thomas Briels equaled the scoreline for the Belgian side in the 36th minute.
Bilal once again gave Pakistan the lead in the 38th minute as he scored his second goal of the match with another penalty corner.
Belgium made it 2-2 in the 39th minute as Amaury Keusters scored a field goal. Cedric Charlier broke the deadlock in the 51st minute thanks to another corner.
Florent van Aubel scored Belgium’s fourth goal in the 54th minute.
Pakistan won only one game out of their five matches of the tournament. They started their campaign with a 4-0 loss to arch rivals India and were beaten 2-1 by Australia.
The green shirts were humbled 4-0 by hosts Netherlands. Their only victory came against Argentina as they won the match 4-1.
