LAHORE: In a bid to build consensus among opposition parties, the leaders of three major political parties held important meetings in Lahore on Tuesday. Bilawal Bhutto met with both Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Shehbaz Sharif and agreed on standing firm against the government.
According to details, Chairman PPP called on PML-N President in Model Town Lahore late Tuesday following a meeting with the JUI-F Chief. While talking to media after the meeting, Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that never before has the economy been in such a dire state, this government has completely failed, and its continued existence will be dangerous for the country.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the public and opposition are on the same page. After Eid-ul-Azha, meetings between leaders and the APC will bear welcome news for Pakistan, he added.
Bilawal said that the government will go home if they start the march towards Islamabad.
