WEB DESK: Altitude’s killer crocodile sequel Black Water: Abyss has won the race to be the first new release to hit UK cinemas when they begin to reopen on 4 July.
The film, slated for wide release on 10 July, will have previews from Saturday, 4 July, the first day UK cinemas can officially begin to welcome customers back. Check out a new trailer for the film above.
As it stands, this is currently the only new release coming to cinemas this coming weekend.
Not every cinema will be open mind you, with Odeon and Showcase Cinemas the only nationwide chains to confirm plans to reopen some sites from Saturday. Cineworld and Picturehouse have delayed their plans to reopen to 31 July after a number of big releases were delayed to August including Tenet and Mulan. Vue’s plan to reopen remains to be confirmed.
