ISLAMABAD: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has extended permission to airlines operating flights in the country.
The CAA has issued a new notum according to which all the airlines operating in the country extended permission to operate flights till August 31.
The airlines will be allowed to operate flights in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta while Gilgit and Skardu airport will only receive flights from Islamabad.
As per the notum, besides given cities, all the airports of other cities’ local flights will be prohibited.
Before this, the CAA has allowed local flights operation on the six airports of the cities until June 30.
