Islamabad (April 11, 2018): The chairman National Accountability bureau (NAB) chairman justice retired Javed Iqbal pledged on Tuesday that there was no place for corruption in the country and no hurdle in eradication of corruption would be tolerated.
He made these views while presiding over NAB executive board meeting held to review the overall performance of the anti-graft watchdog.

The meeting was told that NAB has recovered 296 billion rupees looted amount and deposited it in national exchequer. NAB has received 367742 corruption complaints in which 365374 have been addressed as per law.
Meeting was also apprised that anti-graft body has approved prove in 4000 cases while 3075 have been completed.Addressing the meeting chairman NAB directed the official to complete all the probes, inquiries and investigation within the deadline keeping law in view so that the corrupts could be taken to task.
“NAB is implementing the unbiased and transparent accountability and no barrier in the way will be tolerated,” he said.
