The film is a love story and will be shot in Lahore and rural areas of China. Malik is also reportedly in talks with A-list male actor. However, Malik refrained from disclosing the name. “China has a potential to be one of the biggest markets for Pakistani films,” said Imran Malik in a recent interview. “And I have just the right script, which will not only entertain people on both sides but will further strengthen the relationship between both countries.”
The movie will be produced under the banner of Pervez Malik Films and hit the cinemas in Dec-2018.This is not the first time that a Chinese actor has been roped in for a Pakistani film; last year Canadian-Chinese actor Kent S. Leung made his debut with Umer Adil’s Chalay Thay Saath that stars Syra Yousuf, Mansha Pasha, Zhalay Sarhadi, Faris Khalid and Osama Tahir in pivotal roles.
