ISLAMABAD: Following Traders attempt to enter in the red zone erupted clash with police on Wednesday as they staged protest in front of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) office in favour of their demands.
A heavy contingent of police have been deployed and the roads leading to the Red Zone have been closed.
The protesting traders, belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to protest against government’s economic policies when reached Serina Chowk police halted them to move forward, meanwhile some of the protesters were tried to cross the barbed wire demanded to stage protest in front of FBR office.
They also demanded the government to fulfil its promise of fixed tax, adding that the tax officials were harassing them.
The situation becomes further worsen when police started baton charge and protesters pelted them with stones that force the administration to call more police force.
