ISLAMABAD: The nationwide tally of COVID-19 patients has reached 2291 as 252 new confirmed cases have been reported in the last 24 hours while the death toll surged to 31.

According to the data released by the national command and control center the total tally of cases crossed 2,200 with 743 cases in Sindh, 845 in Punjab, 169 in Balochistan, 276 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 187 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 62 in Islamabad and nine in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The virus has so far claimed 31 lives in Pakistan, while 107  COVID-19 patients have fully recovered.

The situation remains fluid and we’re updating stats as soon as new figures are officially released.
