Islamabad: Prime Minister Special Assistant on Health Dr Zafar Mirza on Monday informed that toll of coronavirus patients surged to 21 while the global pandemic has confirmed in 1625 people so far.
Addressing a daily presser for updating the situation of the coronavirus in the country along with Chairman National Disaster Managment Authority (NDMA) and Prime Minister adviser on national security Moeed Yousuf, Dr Zafar Mirza said that 99 confirmed cases of the virus reported today across the country.
The SAPM on health said that as many as 32 people of the lethal virus have been recovered.
He said that the number of cases of the virus have jumped to 1625 while the virus has claimed 21 lives in the country so far.
Zafar said that the cases reported in the last 24 hours are less than the previous day.
