KARACHI: The number of people affected by the coronavirus in Sindh has appeared different from the myth that the virus infects people above 50 years of age as 64 percent infected from the virus are below 50 years.

The report issued by director-general health service Sindh stated that the virus-infected 1326 people until April 10 out of which 926 are men and 400 women.

The global pandemic also infected 68 children from the age range of one to nine years while 103 children and teens from ages 10 to 19.

As many as 727 people are infected in the age group of 20 to 49 years while 428 turned patient of the disease above the age of 50.
