Karachi (September 28, 2017): The city court has rejected the bail plea of Director General Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Nasir Abbas bail plea in money laundering case and ordered the inclusion of his nephew in investigation.
According to details the hearing on Nasir Abbas bail plea held in city court. Court told the accused that he has submitted bail plea before time as he is in police custody.
Rejecting his bail request city court has remanded the accused Nasir Abbas and Muhammad Hanif to FIA till October 3.
Court also ordered the FIA to appear before the court with complete inquiry report in next hearing.
On September 16, Federal Investigation Agency on Saturday arrested the Director General of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Nasir Abbas.
Abbas is accused of possessing two passports, money laundering, and misappropriation of lands. FIA crime cell arrested and shifted him to their office in Saddar.
Abbas reportedly possesses two passports. The first one was made in 1995 and another in 2015, where he showed himself as a businessman rather than a government official.
An FIA source said that a case will be filed against him, while further investigation is being conducted.
