KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has confirmed the death of 60 passengers in the crash of a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft, PK-8303.

According to the Health Department, five bodies have been identified out of 60 brought to the hospital.

Dr Semi Jamali said that so far 35 bodies have been brought to the Jinnah hospital, while the process of the DNA sampling was underway.

Earlier Sindh health minister Dr Azra Pechuho had confirmed the death of 34 passengers in the crash.
