ISLAMABAD: The Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi has announced peaceful protest and rallies on November 29 against the desecration of Holy Quran.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Tahir Ashrafi demanded European Union and UN should make legislation in protection of Islamic values and the international community should take measures against increasing Islamophobia in the light of PM Imran speech, which he was delivered in UN.

Commenting over the Babari Mosque verdict, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council said it was an example of Hindu extremism as none of the minority is safe in India.

He said construction of more Jew settlements in Palestine is unacceptable as the world badly needed inter-faith harmony.
