Ebad Sees Musharraf Role in Politics,If MQM,PSP Agreed


Karachi (November 8, 2017): The former governor Sindh Dr Ishrtul Ebad said that Musharraf can play political role,  if Pakistan Sirzameen Party (PSP) and Mutahida Quami Movement (MQM) show agreement to pave the way for him.

Former governor made these views, while talking in Abbtakk News program Benaqab.

“People sometimes want a particular person come to them and lead them, therefore there is no point of objection, ” he said.

Replying to a query, Ishratul Ebad said that the name of MQM founder Altaf Hussain still persist in MQM. He mentioned that the impression of dry cleaning of MQM leaders after joining PSP was strong and not easy to remove it.

Former governor Sindh turned down any contacts with MQM or PSP and said he has no intention to come in politics again. Answering another question, he said that people could not be kept in pieces for long time .

“No one has played any role to remove me from governor’s office,” he said .

Earlier, The former President and head of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML)  Pervez Musharraf hailed Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Sirzameen Party (PSP) alliance and termed it welcome step in Karachi politics and vowed that his party will form grand alliance in Sindh.

In his reaction over the alliance of MQM-P and PSP, Pervez Musharraf said that he was glad to see unity of Muhajir nation in shape of MQM and PSP alliance, however they should move forward to promote the ideology of Pakistan first.

“PPP can be defeated in Sindh by setting up grand alliance and All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) will soon bring a strong political party after making political alliance,” he said.
