ISLAMABAD: The scrutiny committee of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday reviewed alleged foreign funding to the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
All the respondents’ lawyers appeared before the ECP’s committee while after the meeting the PTI’s counsel Shah Khawar told
that all the allegations of the petitioner are being responded to.
He informed that the committee has started working now while he has provided all the documents adding that the meeting has been adjourned till December 2.
Talking to media outside the ECP dissident leader of the PTI Akbar S Baber said that the documents have been submitted by the PTI but the ECP did’nt provide any copy to us adding that we repeatedly insisted that the scruitny process must be completed as early as possible while he alleged that the PTI government is huddle in the way of justice.
