Eid Milad un Nabi Celebrated With Enthusiasm Across Country


Islamabad (December 1, 2017): Muslims celebrated the birth of Holy Prophet (PBUH) across the world including Pakistan with religious zeal and fervor. The way in which the occasion is celebrated depicts several colours of local traditions, besides touch of their religion and their association to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Processions and Milad gatherings were organised to mark the occasion, while major mosques in cities and towns were festively illuminated to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

District administrations, government and private organisations also made elaborate arrangements for illumination and decoration of buildings and parks.

Islamabad: The day dawned with 31 gun salute in federal capital and 21 gun salute in all provincial capitals to pay homage to the Prophet (pbuh).

Jinnah Sports Complex in Islamabad organised a celebration, whereas in Lahore the celebrations were held at Mahfooz Shaheed Garrison as the places reverberated with slogans of ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is great).

Rawalpindi: At least two processions are organised where forces will provide fool-proof security arrangements.

Lahore/Punjab:  The people in Lahore held several processions around the Lahore as the centre procession took out form Darbar Mian Mir and culminated at Data Darbar passing through the set route of the rally. In Multan, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sialkot, Okara and other big and small cities also celebrated the Eid Milad un Nabi with great enthusiasm and took out rallies and held Naat Khawani Mahafils.

Former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has also participated in the Eid Miladun Nabi procession in Multan.

Karachi/Sindh: Rallies were held and people decorated their buildings, homes and shops to celebrate the anniversary.

In connection with the day, Mahafil-e-Naat and Milad are being held all over the city while processions have also be taken out to express devotion and respect for the Holy Prophet (PBUH).Related imageThe main procession in this regard have been taken out from Memon Mosque. The procession, after passing through its traditional routes, has culminate at Nishtar Park where main Mehfil-e-Milad has been held.

The government has made foolproof security arrangements for the day with deployment of law enforcement agency personnel along the routes of procession and venues of Mahafil-e-Milad.

Like Karachi other parts of Sindh- Hyderabad, Sukkur, MirpurKhas, Larkana, Badin and other cities- Eid Miladun Nabi has been cerebrated with zeal and fervor.

Quetta: Rallies were held and people decorated their buildings, homes and shops to celebrate the birthday of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Peshawar/KP: Mosques, buildings, markets, streets and homes have been decorated and illuminated with colourful lights and buntings in Peshawar. in Mardan, Noshehra, Bannu, Swabi and other parts of the province people celebrated the occasion with enthusiasm.

People have also decorated their houses with colorful lights and green flags to show their immeasurable love with the Last Prophet.

AJK and Gilgit Baltistan: Eid Milad un Nabi (SAWS) is also being celebrated in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan with religious zeal and fervour on Friday.

Special conferences, events and Mehafil-e-Milaad are being arranged to pay respect to the last messenger whose whole life and teachings are beacon of light for the whole mankind.In connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi, a National Seerat Conference under the aegis of Ministry of Religious Affairs will be held in Islamabad tomorrow. President Mamnoon Hussain would be the chief guest at the moot which would be attended by a number of delegates from home and abroad.

Prominent Ulema will highlight various aspects of Seerat-un Nabi (PBUH) calling upon people to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) for their salvation.Related image
