Elected PM Sacked For Accrued Income defined as No Declared Asset: Asif


Islamabad (July 29, 2017): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that a popularly elected prime minister has been sacked for accrued income defined as no declared asset.

 Khawaja Muhammad Asif said in a tweet, “No panama. No Gulf steel. No London flats. No Corruption. Popularly elected PM sacked for accrued income defined as no declared asset.”

He further said that Nawaz Sharif had been removed, jailed and exiled in 1999. Asif said that he came back, won elections and became PM. He once again removed in 2017.

Earlier, PML-N leaders were of the view that unfortunately elected prime ministers have never been allowed to complete their constitutional tenure in Pakistan.
