Facebook working on social app allowing teens' parental guidance
Facebook is reportedly working on a social interaction application for teens which would allow parents to monitor their children’s contacts for guidance.

The app, reportedly, would be closed to all strangers who are not listed in contacts and also cannot be browsed by general public.

The Information website reported that a software code was found in the app that is yet to hit the market, which would grant parental guidance though it could turn off many teens.

These parental controls of the application will set it apart from Facebook messenger, according to the website. The code stated: “Talk is a messaging app where you fully control the contacts and your child uses the Talk app to chat with you in Messenger.”

An Australian paper recently published a study that observed advertisers could target social media users as young as 14 thus the app would curb exploitation besides other pros.
