KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar Saturday announced to serve show-cause notices to Coordination Committee members for violating party discipline under the laws of Election Commission and call General Workers Convention on February 11.
Addressing a press conference in PIB Colony here, he said the members of Rabita Committee violated the discipline by convening a meeting which he called ‘ unconstitutional’; hence, they will be served show-cause notices, adding the members can evade the proceedings by attending the Sunday’s moot.
Dr. Farooq Sattar said he will write a letter to respond to the letter adding it is time for a constitutional war. He called upon Election Commission of Pakistan to rubbish the letter written by the Rabita Committee as all their meetings and decisions are unconstitutional.
He alleged Rabita Committee of orchestrating attack on his back and powers, adding this was the formula intended to drive a wedge among Muhajirs; however, he vowed he will not let that happen.
