KARACHI: A fire erupted on Thursday in the pipeline of a private company at the Keamari Oil Terminal in which three persons sustained burn wounds.

Fire tenders of the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) carried out the rescue operation and were helped by Pakistan Rangers. Firefighting foam was used to extinguish the inferno.

Pakistan Navy fire tenders also reached the spot to douse the fire and assist the rescue work, naval spokesperson confirmed. The operation was completed.
