Five MQM’s RC Members Decide to Resign


Karachi (February 10, 2018): After the tension and rift of a week the five members of MQM-P Rabita Committee have been decided to resign for their committees’ membership on Saturday.

According to sources five members of MQM-P Buhadrabad Rabita Committee, name yet unveiled, have decided to tender resignation and become inactive.

Another twist witnessed in the latest episode of rift among the MQM-P leaders when Pakistan Sirzameen Party (PSP) leader Salman Mujahid Baloch accompanied with Ali Raza Abidi and Khawaja Suhail Mansoor arrived in Farooq Sattar home to discuss the issue. Sources claimed Salman Mujahid is mulling over his re-joining MQM-P to protect the party from further division. PSP sources said party being reviewed Salman Mujahid’s visit to Farooq Sattar and will take any decision after close check the motive behind his visit to MQM’s PIB office.

Ealeir splinter groups of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Rabita Committee (RC) was called a meeting at its Bahadurabad office at 2 pm today to devise future strategy in the meeting.

 MQM’s veteran leader, Faisal Subzwari has also invited Farooq Sattar in the meeting. While talking to media in the wee hours of Saturday, Subzwari said that Sattar disappointed the Rabita Committee by his behavior.Subzwari said that they could not understand the importance of Tessory for Sattar. He said RC meeting will be held on time either Sattar join the meeting or not.

Subzwari was of the view that RC can hold meetings under the chair of senior deputy convener as per constitution. He said they were working under the ambit of the constitution. Subzwari said that RC authorized Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to allocate tickets.
