Karachi: A social organization fix-it has put up a cut out of Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah at Gujjar Nala as a protest against not cleaning of drains before the mooson rains in the metropolise.
In his video message, social as well as political worker Alamgir Khan, lambasting on the Sindh government, said that a drama is being staged by taking cleaning machinery just three days before rains as 30 drains of Karachi are not functional.
Alamgir Khan, who is also MNA from PTI, said that the National Disaster Management Authority has issued a warning of urban flooding while we have been demanding cleaning of the drains for four years.
The PTI leader said, “the ministers of Sindh government are just visiting the drains for photo sessions adding that no cleaning has been made at Gujjar Nala.”
He said, ” this video is evidence and I am informing the provincial government that if drains were not cleaned then people will die more from the incompetency of the provincial government then the coronavirus.”
