According to details, Qureshi told the Iranian counterpart Pakistan stands with Iran in the difficult time and ready to provide any kind of relief.
“Two helicopters carrying relief goods being sent to Iran and will send further goods as per requirement,” he said adding that help to a brother country was the responsibility of Pakistan.
Earlier, In a tweet on Monday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal condoled with the families who lost their dear ones in the calamity.
The spokesperson said Pakistan is ready to extend humanitarian support to Iran in rescue efforts. He said people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with their Iranian brethren at this difficult time.
