KARACHI: Former MQM MPA Irum Azeem Farooque announced her decision to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday.
She made the announcement of joining the PTI on micro-blogging website Twitter.
“PTI leadership has been in touch with me since a few month and has Respectfully offered me to join them. Yes today I announce joining PTI,” she wrote.
PTI Karachi leader Ali Haider Zaidi and Khurram Sher Zaman welcomed Farooque’s decision to join Imran Khan’s party.
The move comes shortly after PTI MNA Ayesha Gulelai quit the party, accusing Imran Khan of harassment. – SAMAA
