Good Transport Strike Enters Third Day

KARACHI:The Goods Transporters protest and strike have entered third day against non-implementation of excel load law and an increase in road permit fees .

According to the spokesperson of goods transporters Imdad Hussain Naqvi said that if their demands are not fulfilled until Friday then oil tankers transporters will also join the strike.

Loading of goods have been stopped at Karachi port as well after the port Qasim.

Goods Transporters had announced yesterday to extend their scope of the protest if their demands are not fulfilled.

The spokesperson of goods transporters Imdad Hussain Naqvi has said that no one contacted from the federal level from the body as yet adding that we are protesting while the communication ministry is enjoying profound sleep.

The spokesperson demanded that as per the orders of the Islamabad High Court implement excel load limit immediately otherwise they will hold strike and continue protest for indefinite period for the fulfillment of their fair demands
