KARACHI: Soon after Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) senior politician Khalid Maqbool Siddiqi announced his resignation as the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication over certain reservations with the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government has decided to remove the reservations of the MQM-P.
Sources said that the government delegation led by Planning Minister Asad Umar will soon the MQM-P .
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan has contacted Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and instructing him to make contact with the MQM-P and hold meeting with them.
The premier said that the MQM-P demands are just and committed that the government will fulfill all the promises made with the party.
The PM said that the MQM-P is the best and the most trustable ally of the government adding that Karachi is the economic hub of the country and it can’t be ignored.
