Here’s what Preity Zinta had said about Quaid-e-Azam’s daughter Dina

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta was dating Dina Wadia’s grandson Ness Wadia a couple of years back hence it comes as no surprise that she had the honour of meeting Dina.

“Sorry to hear that the elegant & spirited Dina Wadia is no more. I was fortunate enough to have met her & really admired her,” Preity tweeted as soon as news broke of Dina Wadia’s death.

Preity Zinta had been romantically linked to Ness Wadia, Quaid-e-Azam’s great grandson who is Dina Wadia’s grandson.

The two broke up after a public dispute in which the Bollywood actress accused Wadia of molestation, threats and abuse in a complaint filed against him.

Here’s what Preity had said a couple of years ago about meeting Dina Wadia:-

“The first time I met her (Dina Wadia), I stared at her open mouthed. My goodness, she carries so much history within her! Since then we’ve met over dinner and at other social occasions several times. Each time I’m struck by her gentle demeanour, her classic elegance, and yes, her fragility,” she said.

“I was also struck by her unmistakable facial resemblance to her illustrious father (Jinnah). I’ve never seen two people who resemble each other so closely.”
