HARIPUR: Reham Khan, former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, said that she was maligned after her divorce with the political leader.
Speaking in a press conference, she said that she is not in contact with former PTI leader Aisha Gulalai nor did she meet Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam.
‘I am a Pathan. I am not afraid of speaking the truth,’ she said.
The ex-wife of Imran Khan stated that she was criticized when she wanted to make a movie. ‘Why allegations are still being leveled against me,’ she asked.
‘I remained in silence for the past two years,’ the journalist stated.
With the Holy Quran in her hand, Khan stated that she has no connections with Gulalai and Muqam.
She stated that she was defamed and maligned after her divorce.
She went on to say that she was on the righteous path and no one can challenge her.
Khan stated, ‘I am answerable to no one except Almighty Allah.’
Reham Khan stated that the people will continue to love her despite how much money is spent on defaming her.
She stated that the PTI chairman’s path became clear when the Supreme Court of Pakistan disqualified Nawaz Sharif.
Reham Khan stated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif did not tell her to write a book.
