Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved the verdict for maintainability of the petition seeking disqualification of the Federal Minister for water resources Faisal Vawda.

Justice Amir Farooq heard the petition filed by the petitioner Jehangir Jadoon.

The petitioner viewed that in the disqualification case the court had given Faisal Vawda two weeks for submission of reply on January 29 but after five months the reply was not submitted.

Faisal Vawda committed a contempt of court by not submitting a reply yet and demanded action against him while Justice Amir Farooq said that the court has fixed the case for hearing.

Later, the IHC reserved verdict regarding the maintainability of the petition to disqualify Faisal Vawda.

It is pertinent to mention here that the disqualification petition against Faisal Vawda is under hearing for hiding facts from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
