Islamabad (May 30, 2018): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senior Leader Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah on Wednesday slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and said that he is habitual of taking U-turns.
While talking to journalists, Syed Khurshid Shah said that it was not possible to withdraw caretaker CM’s name after having consensus by the provincial government and the opposition.He said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed held a joint press conference to announce that a consensus had been reached on the name of Nasir Khosa as Punjab’s caretaker chief minister and a summary in this regard had been sent to Punjab governor.
Syed Khurshid Shah was of the vie that once forwarded, the summary could not be withdrawn. He also rejected the Balochistan assembly resolution seeking one-month delay in general elections. The PPP leader said that elections should be held on time.
