Imran Khan to contest 2018 elections from Karachi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will be contesting the 2018 general elections from Karachi as well.

The announcement was made by PTI’s Secretary Information Fawad Chaudhry.

Chaudhry said that Imran Khan will kick off his nationwide tour on 4th March 2018 and will begin the electioneering after 8th March 2018.

He said that his party failed to emerge victorious in the 2013 general elections as they pitted “inexperienced candidates” in the polls.

The PTI leader went on to say that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif wants to remain in politics in order to make his children powerful.

He asked, “Why the bureaucracy in Punjab is protesting over the arrest of Ahad Cheema?”
