Imran Khan warns Nawaz Sharif of ‘unprecedented’ protests

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has warned the ruling clique that he would launch an ‘unprecedented’ protest campaign against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif if the latter ‘attempted to demolish’ state institutions, Samaa reported.

“After destroying state institutions like FBR and NAB, I’m sure they are going to attack more institutions like Supreme Court and Pakistan Army,” Khan said, while addressing his party’s workers convention in Lahore.

“The entire Sharif family has been exposed. They are calling it a sponsored conspiracy but it was a treason they committed with this nation,” he said.

Khan warned the government that he would launch an ‘unprecedented’ movement, if the PM continued to overpower state institutions.

“If you think that you will destroy Supreme Court and other institutions to save your corruption, you should not be in any doubt. I promise to this nation that masses in an unprecedented number will come out on streets against you, the entire country is awaiting this campaign,” Khan affirmed.

“And after it, you will not find a place to hide… you will not go to Jeddah, but Adiyala jail… Not even Modi, Trump and Qatari prince can save you this time,” said Imran Khan.
