BRISBANE: Pakistan’s bowling coach Waqar Younis has said that inexperienced bowling attack could not pressurize the Australian batting line-up. Imran Khan was given chance, as Muhammad Abbas was out of rhythm.
After loosing the first test match against Australia, Waqar said, “If we had used the new ball well, things might have been different”.
One of our bowler was debutant, second played only three tests while the third one was making a come back after three years, he said.
Muhammad Abbas is our match winner bowler but he is out of rhythm, so Imran was given a chance who took five-wickets in tour match, but unfortunately did not perform well in Test.
While talking about giving chance to new talent, coach said, “We provided chance to the best talent available in the absence of Wahab and Amir”.
Naseem Shah is only 16 and Shaheen is 19. Muhammad Hasnain and Moosa are also only 19. We will have to give them time, “These bowlers are the future of Pakistan”.
“Australian conditions are different to understand, therefore a three-match series should be played here.”
