ISLAMABAD: Installation of walk-through corona free gates has started in Islamabad as first gate installed at Sabzi Mandi situated adjacent to Sector I-11 of the capital.
Prime Minister Special Assistant on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Ali Nawaz Awan inaugurated the first corona free walk through gate.
As many as 80 people can cross the gate in a minute which installed at the cost of Rs one million.
Talking at the occasion he said that more 20 such gates will be installed in Islamabad adding that people locked to their houses in some areas of the capital went to lock-down due to the coronavirus.
He informed that the CDA has started arranging ration to the people locked in their houses while the government has started arrangements providing daily commodities on a control price.
Special assistant said that now people are taking the global pandemic seriously and fully cooperating with the local administration because those are protected who limited their selves.
