KARACHI: Blood curdling weather has gripped the entire country while weather in Karachi got colder Thursday morning after it drizzled in multiple areas early morning.
Light rain was reported on North Nazimabad, North Karachi, University Road, in Safoora, Malir, Model Colony, and other areas.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted chances of more drizzling in Karachi today (Thursday).
Mercury recorded at 9.5 degree centigrade in the metropolis while Quetta witnessed first snow fall of the season which lowered down temperature to negative three.
Snow has blanketed all over upper areas of the country while dense fog covered the most areas of Punjab while the fog closed motorway M-4.
Rain/thunderstorm ( snowfall over mountain) with cloudy weather condition is expected at isolated places in Northwest Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhunkhwa, upper Punjab, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
Dense fog is likely to prevail in most plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning and night hours. Cold and dry weather is expected elsewhere areas of the country while very cold in upper areas.
