Karachi (September 27, 2017): The ex four jail police officials have challenged the high level police inquiry committee investigation in Sindh High Court over the Karachi Central jail break incident, in which two hardcore terrorists were escaped.
Challenging the inquiry report police officials plead the court that they have not trust in Additional IG Sanaullah Abbasi report therefore cases against them should be scrapped.
They informed the court that they were granted bail in the case, however another case had registered against unknown persons.
Court, taking action on the request, ordered pause in action against police officials and also summoned reply from IG Sindh in this connection.
Court has issued the notices to all parties for October 12.
On June 15, two under-trial prisoners (UTPs), Sheikh Muhammad alias Firon and Ahmed Khan alias Manako, managed to escape from the jail’s judicial complex, where they were brought for a hearing.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah had suspended DIG Jail Ashraf Nizamani and the relevant SHO over the escape of two under-trial prisoners from Central Jail, Karachi last month.
Later, The suspended Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Central Jail Karachi hasd filed petition against the removal from his slot in Sindh High Court.
