Pop singer Jawad Ahmad said he is going to contest the general election against Imran Khan, Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Ahmad is the chairperson of the Barabri Party Pakistan.
“Ninety-nine per cent of the Pakistani population belongs to the middle class,” he said at a press conference in Lahore on Thursday. “Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto and Shehbaz Sharif have nothing to do with the middle class. Election is a form of business for these parties.”
Ahmad said the common man should not be afraid of capitalists. “The politics of Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan is not for the common man,” he said.
